Dookie community sessions

We hosted community information sessions at the Dookie Showgrounds and Recreation Reserve about the proposed Central North Renewable Energy Zone. These events provided an opportunity for the community to learn about what’s planned, speak with our team and technical specialists, ask questions and share feedback.

Gippsland Environment Effects Statement community sessions

We hosted community information sessions about the Environment Effects Statement (EES) and the studies underway for the Gippsland offshore wind 2 GW transmission project. These sessions were a chance to learn what’s planned, hear about key topics, speak with our team and technical specialists, and share what matters to you and your community.

Consultation extended for draft renewable energy zones

VicGrid has been consulting on the draft renewable energy zones since November 2025 and thanks everyone who has provided feedback. Consultation closed on Sunday 15 March 2026. All feedback will now be reviewed and considered before zones are declared.
