About the artwork

The artwork ‘Every Step Matters’ by Taungurung artist Maddi Moser recognises Country in VicGrid's visual identity and reflects our commitment to walking in partnership with Traditional Owners.

The work reflects the parallel journeys of VicGrid and First Nations Peoples, centering on the moments where these paths meet and progress is shaped through genuine partnership.

Grounded in Country and guided by enduring presence and connection, it acknowledges the many voices and contributions that inform this shared path.

The work honours the richness and complexity of reconciliation and renewable energy development, recognising that progress is built through ongoing collaboration, learning and respect rather than a single, linear journey.
